Enkel Barcelona Restaurant Website

A bespoke responsive website and Content Management System (CMS) for one of Barcelona's most praised restaurants in modern all-day cuizine. The site was built with a combination of VanillaJS and JQuery plugins (Owl Carousel) and deployed to a managed hosting provider. The markup structure and syntax were designed in line with SEO best practices and regularly benchmarked against Google's "Web.Dev" quality assessment tool. The CMS was developed with Perch - a PHP-based CMS - according to the directors' requirements, including the ability to update source code to enhance Search Engine Optimization (SEO) results. The design concept was based on sizeable black-and-white content sections interrupted by bright, colourful photography of Enkel's bold cuisine. One of the key features delivered is the interactive navigation bar which updates its colour scheme and company logo depending on the user's scroll position in relation to each black-and-white content area.
